In the home
These paintings are created to live within a space—bringing a sense of calm, light, and presence into the rooms they inhabit.
In this penthouse, the work doesn’t just decorate the wall—it shifts the atmosphere of the entire room.

Collected at Mainsail—year after year

Discovered At Mainsail
Edye and Madelyn spent hours walking the Mainsail Art Festival, searching for a piece that truly spoke to them. Booth after booth, nothing quite resonated.
My booth was their final stop before heading home.
As they turned the corner and saw the painting, they paused—then lit up.
“Oh my God—that’s it.”

Mainsail is where many people decide to claim original art for their home.
Anne Zimmerman Briand is a contemporary landscape painter known for expressive coastal paintings that capture the movement of water, sky, and changing light. Working both outdoors and in the studio, she develops large-scale paintings inspired by the atmosphere and open horizon of the Gulf Coast.
She was selected as the featured poster artist for the 50th Anniversary Mainsail Art Festival.
“I create this work to bring a sense of calm into the spaces we live—work that doesn’t just decorate a wall, but shifts the energy of a room.”
— Anne Zimmerman Briand
